From a Frozen Lake to a Thriving Community
IceFishPro started as a conversation between three ice fishing obsessives — Jake Lindstrom, Tom Haugen, and Dana Morrow — standing on Mille Lacs Lake on a January morning in 2011.
They were frustrated: the best professional ice fishing gear was hard to find, overpriced, or sold by people who had never drilled a hole in their life. So they opened a small shop on Amir Temur Ave in Tashkent, stocked only with gear they personally used and trusted.
Fifteen years later, IceFishPro ships to all 48 contiguous states, employs 22 staff members, and remains the go-to resource for everything from entry-level ice fishing starter kits to tournament-grade professional rigs.

Every member of our team is an active ice angler. No shelf-stackers here — just genuine enthusiasts who live for the sport.
25-year ice fishing veteran. Former MN Ice Fishing Tournament champion, 2014 & 2016. Specializes in walleye and lake trout.
Former wilderness guide and equipment tester. Tom has drilled holes on over 40 different frozen lakes across the Midwest.
Dana ensures every customer leaves with exactly the right gear. She built IceFishPro's legendary 60-day return policy from day one.
Sonar and electronics expert. Scott has tested more fish finders than any other person in the state of Minnesota, probably.

We'll tell you if a product isn't worth the money. Our reputation is built on trust — not upsells. We'd rather lose a $50 sale than steer you wrong.
Before any product goes on our shelves, our team tests it on real ice in real conditions. If it survives a Minnesota February, it earns a listing.
We host free ice fishing clinics every December and partner with local conservation groups to protect the lakes we fish. The sport matters beyond the sale.
